About Rebekka Strand

 Born in Norway in 1992, Rebekka grew up among frozen hills and bacon-wrapped hot dogs. As an adult, she found an American man and moved to San Diego. Surrounded by sand, palm trees, and spicy foods, Rebekka found the contrasts inspiring. Left to her own devices during the pandemic, she began writing her first novel.

 

Rebekka Strand has an M.D. in Behavior Analysis and Complexity from Oslo Metropolitan University. She has been published in multiple scientific journals and self-published her grandfather's memoir, SLINGER.

 

She has a folder on her desktop full of ideas and a YA sci-fi novel, SHATTERED ICE, ready for publishing.
